BIG DIVE into DATAVIZ: 5 days to become a master in Data Visualization

Big Dive, an intensive training course to become a data scientist (organized by TOP-IX, in cooperation with ToDo, Axant and ISI Foundation), has reached its seventh edition and offers great news. Alongside the traditional training dedicated to the Big Data theme, it introduces a week focused on digital and information designers.

19250385_10154928569333305_5817424956091074417_oBIG DIVE into DATAVIZ focuses on exploring the field of data visualization through computational design approaches and technologies. The week before the beginning of BIG DIVE 7 will propose a full-immertion of five days, to learn the principles of Data Visualization and become a master in D3.JS, the main Javascript library to create interactive visualizations.
Not just theoretical lessons, but a real “gym”, where you can put your hands on real datasets, develop data visualization and enrich your project portfolio.
The main teacher of BIG DIVE into DATAVIZ will be Fabio Franchino (TODO co-founder and CTO), supported by TOP-IX designers and developers.
The top students willbe invited to participate in the final phase of BIG DIVE 7, in order to contribute to the final projects of the course.

Informazioni pratiche
Course duration: 5 days from Monday to Friday. (from June 11th ‘till June 15th); lesson starts at 09:30 and finishes at 16:30. Additional time is reserved for exercises and “homeworks”. An 85% in-class presence is required to receive the final certificate.
Course location: Torino via Maria Vittoria 38 c/o TOP-IX headquarters.
Teaching language: In case of at-least one non-Italian person, lessons will
be taught in English. Otherwise Italian will be the teaching language.
