Torino has become an open “laboratory of Innovation” thanks to Torino City Lab (TCL).


From autonomous driving to drones, from IoT and 5G to robotics.

Torino City Lab has created a perfect environment to support companies and startups to test innovative solutions in a real context. The initiative allows ideas to be developed and improved almost in real time to meet current urban challenges.

Torino City Lab is an initiative-platform where citizens, companies and public administration can explore and experiment together innovative products, technologies and services in order to test its functionality and utility for end users and assess the impacts on quality of life.

Torino offers the entire city for develop new solutions, providing a system of physical, technological infrastructures, relations and know-how to experiment and then scale up the proposed innovations.

Promoted by the City of Turin, it involves a vast local partnership of subjects from public and private sectors interested in supporting and growing the local innovation ecosystem. TOP-IX Consortium is part of TCL network.

There are always open call to companies and startups.

You can now apply to Educational Lab, an initiative born in the framework of Learning Technologies Accelerator to develop a space dedicated to innovation in the educational field, to allow the testing of solutions for teaching and learning environments (deadline: July 26, 2019).
