Six new members in the TOP-IX Consortium

During the online Executive Council of 9 April, six new members joined the TOP-IX Consortium.

Facebook and Netflix – that certainly need no introduction – were already interconnected to TOP-IX and have decided to became part of the consortium and significantly increase their interconnection capacity.

In addition, we welcome four other new consortium members.

STUDIO ARMONIA is an FWA provider active in Valle d’Aosta and aims to collect the operator’s legacy from Valle d’Aosta Hi2. Furthermore, Studio Armonia deals with broadcasting as well as installation, maintenance and technical assistance on radio transceiver systems

NETPOP is provider operating in Ravenna and provides ICT services and solutions by integrating the best technologies in the sector with their skills. NETPOP offers integration services of heterogeneous systems, from the cloud to building automation, from mobility to the data center, from collaboration to security, to Custom Application Development.

NaWas is a Dutch independent, non-profit organization created by and for Internet and VoIP service providers. NBIP fights DDoS attacks, through NaWas, the national scrubbing center, and aims to become one of the largest independent anti-DDoS centers in Europe in the near future.

Fiber Telecom is strongly committed to deliver true carrier class wholesale network services. Moreover, Fiber Telecome was the first operator in Italy to offer the IP Transit service with the BGP full routing table, fully protected by RPKI validation.

The number of consortium members grows to over 90.
