ISO\/IEC 27001 Standard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ISO\/IEC 27001 standard<\/strong> is widely known and provides the requirements for an Information Security Management System<\/strong> (ISMS), although there are more than a dozen standards in the ISO\/IEC 27000 family. Their usage enables organizations of any kind to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, or information entrusted by third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TOP-IX has\u00a0extended the certificate\u00a0to\u00a0all its activities<\/strong>, as defined by the\u00a0ISO\/IEC 27001 standard\u00a0(previously the certification exclusively covered the activity of Internet Exchange), through a\u00a0verification process\u00a0conducted by CSQA which\u00a0involved the company’s entire staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The certification qualifies that data management at TOP-IX is carried out according to the highest standards, reassuring both current customers (and Consortium members) as well as new entities who may find a reliable partner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
