This approach <strong>leverages the same infrastructure used to access Google services, without the operational complexity of managing direct peering.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service is delivered through a fully redundant <strong>2\u00d7100 Gbps<\/strong> connectivity setup and is available to peers on an opt-in\/opt-out basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-palette-color-5-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-palette-color-5-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to request access to Layer-3 services<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To access Layer-3 Services, you can request public peering with AS207638 by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:networking@top-ix.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>networking@top-ix.org<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, you may peer with our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-ix.org\/en\/service\/route-server\/\"><strong>Route Servers<\/strong><\/a>, where OpenEdge is already available. Please note that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access to caches and CDNs is enabled by default for all Route Server peers. However, you may request that your routes are not announced to caches by applying specific BGP communities (see <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rest.db.ripe.net\/ripe\/aut-num\/AS207638.txt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access (both announcement and reception of routes) to partial transit (<em>e.g., Google<\/em>) and remote peers (<em>e.g., France-IX Multipass<\/em>) via Route Servers must be explicitly requested by emailing <a href=\"mailto:networking@top-ix.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>networking@top-ix.org<\/strong><\/a>.
