Agreement signed with ACN for a more secure and resilient network

The TOP-IX Consortium has signed an agreement with the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency to ensure more effective coordination in cyber threat prevention and mitigation activities. Thanks to the agreement, programs can be launched to exchange information on the status and evolution of cyber threats, develop guidelines on the security of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) configurations and, more generally, on the security of national IXP operators, in line with the provisions of the Implementation Plan for the 2022-2026 National Cybersecurity Strategy.

The agreement also aims to strengthen the security of the national Internet network and promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, thus contributing to the cybersecurity ecosystem based on collaboration between the Agency and the private sector.
