Five weeks, 19 divers, 6 nations, 8 teachers, 12 external lectures, 6 Tech partners and 4 Data sponsors. These are the numbers of the fourth edition of BIG DIVE, which kicked off on June the 8th, in Social Renaissance headquarter.
BIG DIVE classroom is composed of 19 Divers coming from 6 different nations: Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, United States and Vietnam. For 5 weeks they will be the students in the training course organized by TOP-IX, in collaboration with Axant.it, ISI Foundation and ToDo. BIG DIVE, in fact, is aimed at boosting the tech skills (development, visualization and data science) in order to extract value from data and to generate effective impact. In addition to the 8 internal teachers, the course boasts 12 guest lecturers: the first one was Enrico Ferro, Head of Innovation Development at ISMB, on Wednesday, June the 10th.
BIG DIVE is not only lessons and theory, as in the past editions it gives space to practice: also this year Divers have the opportunity to deal with real data and concrete challenges, thanks to the datasets provided by the Data sponsors: deltatre; Gruppo Banca Sella with Consel and SellaLab, Dimar Group and Tierra.
BIG DIVE has the patronage by Politecnico di Torino, and it is realized with the support of Tech Partners Amazon Web Services, Celi, Centro Nexa, ISMB, Python Academy and SpazioDati.
